Assembly Instructions

Step 1: Cut All Panels

  • Cut side panels, top, and shelf according to dimensions.
  • Ensure all edges are square and smooth before assembly.

Step 2: Assemble Side Frame

  • Attach top and bottom shelf supports between the two side panels.
  • Use wood glue and screws or dowel joints.
  • Ensure the structure is perfectly square.

Step 3: Install Middle Shelf

  • Fix shelf supports at desired height (around mid-section or slightly lower).
  • Place and secure shelf panel on supports.
  • Check for level alignment.

Step 4: Attach Rear Support Strip

  • Fix a vertical or horizontal brace at the back.
  • This prevents side-to-side wobbling and increases load capacity.

Step 5: Attach Top Panel

  • Secure top panel using screws from inside the frame or concealed brackets.
  • Ensure flush alignment with side edges.

Step 6: Sanding & Oak Finish

  • Sand all visible surfaces (120 → 240 grit progression).
  • Apply oak veneer edge banding.
  • Finish with clear varnish or matte wood sealer for durability.

Design Notes

  • Keep the structure lightweight but reinforced internally.
  • Avoid overloading the top beyond 15 kg.
  • For a premium look, hide all screws using plugs or pocket holes.
  • You can scale height slightly for sofa arm clearance.

Final Result

A sleek, modern C-shape side table that combines function and style in a compact footprint. It works as a bedside table, sofa-side laptop stand, or decorative accent piece
